With the capabilities of the Cisco Silicon One ASIC and the hardware root-of-trust capabilities of the Cisco8000 hardware, the disaggregation community is all set to reap the benefits of this enablement!

OCP-2020 Demo (Long Version): SONiC on the Cisco 8000 with Docker Swarm Cluster workflows

In this demo we set up a Leaf Spine topology with 3 Cisco 8201s, use ONIE to bring up SONiC on each device and establish leaf-leaf connectivity using eBGP sessions.

To make things interesting, a docker swarm cluster is running on host machines connected to the leaves to send end-to-end scaled video traffic over multiple RTSP sessions. We had fun setting it up - hope you have as much fun checking it out!
